Service times are similar to in-shop appointments: Windshield replacement typically takes 45–90 minutes including curing time. Chip repairs take 30–45 minutes. Door and back glass 45–75 minutes. Light rain typically doesn’t prevent service ,  our mobile units have protective equipment. However, for severe storms, extreme heat, or hazardous conditions, we may reschedule to ensure safety and proper installation. We’ll discuss this with you when confirming your appointment. Your vehicle and technician safety are our priority.

Just a safe, accessible parking spot – ideally in the shade or a covered area. Our technician needs a few feet of clearance around the vehicle. You don’t need to be present for the entire service, but someone should be available to sign off on the work order and receive the keys when complete. For insurance claims, have your policy number and insurance company name handy when you book.

Yes. Southwest Auto Glass regularly services military personnel and their families at Fort Bliss and Biggs AAF. Our technicians are familiar with base access procedures. You’ll need to arrange a pass for our technician’s vehicle , let us know when booking and we’ll coordinate accordingly. We also accept USAA and other military-affiliated insurance plans and are experienced with their claims process.

Someone needs to be available at the start and end of the appointment to hand over keys and approve the completed work. You don’t need to stay with the technician the entire time, many customers go inside, continue working, or run errands while we complete the installation.
